Soupe de chou-fleur et pommes de terres

Cauliflower and potato soup

Craving some soup? Check out this easy, comforting and nutritious recipe with our Umami blend!

Ingredients (4 people)

  • 350g cauliflower
  • 350g potatoes
  • 200g onions
  • 4 teaspoons of Umami
  • 25 cl of liquid cream or vegetable cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Sea salt


  • Peel the onions and potatoes. Detach the cauliflower florets, wash them then drain them and cut them. Chop the onions, cut the potatoes into small pieces. Sprinkle 2 teaspoons of Umami over.
  • Heat the oil in a large saucepan and sauté the onion then add the cauliflower and potato pieces, the remaining Umami, a little salt and 70 cl of water. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer gently for 20-30 minutes.
  • Blend to obtain a creamy texture. Add the fresh cream and stir. Check the seasoning and serve.
